I have been in the states since last Tuesday. Jonas got his first cold the night before we flew out from Laos, so the plane trip was traumatic.
The first leg was 6 hours from Bangkok to Korea. He had a fever and pretty much slept/cried the whole time. Then there was a 13 hour flight from Korea to Dallas, which was traumatic only in the first 30-45 minutes. He was burning with fever but the fever broke just before the plane left the runway and he started acting like his normal happy self. He had a really stuffy nose though and I know it caused him pain during take off and landings. It was also nice that the 4 times he vomited, we were in a bathroom. I am proud of him for timing it so well.
When we flew from Dallas to Atlanta and Atlanta to home, he was the best behaved baby on both of those flights.
He is bringing joy to everyone he meets now. He has finally adjusted to the 12 hour time difference.
But I'm pretty tired myself.
