I was just thinking; I hate psychology. I used to like it a lot in high school and I even considered minoring in psychology in college, but then I started noticing things about it.

1) Almost every psychologist has either needed some type of counseling themselves in the past, or is currently seeing a psychologist of his or her own.

2) A lot of the stuff that psychology attempts to explain away and classify as mental diseases are actually a result of sin in the life of the afflicted. I mean, can you honestly say that someone who habitually uses pornography has a sexual addiction? I mean, all of mankind is addicted to sin, but that doesn�t mean we just throw up our hands and give up and say we are incorrigible sin addicts. That doesn�t mean we get special government grants and go to workshops to deal with our sin addiction. Let�s call a spade a spade here. The way you �deal� with sin is to claim the cleansing blood of the lamb, REPENT (meaning, resolve to not do it again!) and move on. Buffet your flaccid little psyche and make it your slave. Why are you going to let things or feelings run your life? You only get one life. Do it up right.

3) Most psychologists are gross and creepy. Maybe when they took the career aptitude test their choices were a) forest ranger b) serial killer c) psychologist.

I remember what a joke it was when I went to a psychologist back in my depression days. She had all of these index cards with �emotion words� written on them and told me to pick some that described the way I felt. I picked like �happy� and �sad� and lame ones like that because I had no faith in her system.
